Nordic Paradise, a Burning Man theme camp, exists to support participation in Black Rock City. Our goal is to provide a safe haven meeting basic needs and fostering inclusivity within our policy framework.
We thrive on wild adventures, crafting enchantment, and sharing emotions. Trust and safety are paramount for us to fully engage. We foster trust through clear intentions, openness, boundaries, and respectful consent.
Nordic Paradise’s goal or ‘future perfect’ is “To create a safe space, where as many as possible have as much fun as possible”. ‘Fun’ should be regarded in a broader sense, often replaceable with joy, happiness, well-being, liberty etc, but also within a broader entity than just the camp or the week in the desert, taking the longer environmental impact into consideration.

We aim to build a camp with 50-60 members, mixing returning and new members in a balanced blend.
We have a “shared economy” for all expenses related to the camp. For 2026, each member pays 6000 SEK as “camp fee” and a deposit of 1000 SEK. Read more about the economy in the documents you find in the links to the right.
Travelling far raises concerns about sustainability and there might be special aspects to consider when going to the US. You will have to ponder on these, and possibly other aspects, before making your decision to stay home or to join the adventure. The core values of Burning Man and Nordic Paradise remains the same although the world might be changing. We aim to be as sustainable as possible and celebrate diversity, creativity, participation and joy.
We take security seriously and follow official travel recommendations. Also, the camp needs a certain number of members by the end of March in order to be able to make the journey. Should we fall short, or if we judge that travelling to Black Rock City is unsafe, preparations will be halted and all money not irrevocably spent will be paid back to all members.
Don’t hesitate to drop us a line, but please check all the links to right before you do so.
