Detailed description for camp members

The Membership & Finance team will administer memberships and oversee all economic transactions of the camp.

This includes a system to accept payment of camp fees and deposits. Setting up a system for reimbursements and administrating payments from the camp. The team should have an active communication with the treasurer of Nordic Paradise NPO, since all economic transactions will use the NPOs bank account. The team will make adjustments to the budget as needed. After the event, the team should close the economic books and report the results.

The team is also responsible for handling memberships in Nordic Paradise. The team should prepare information about how the membership application process works and answer questions related to memberships. The information should be made available on Nordic Paradise’s digital fora.

The team should sort and assess all membership applications and assist the leads for respective teams in finding co-leads and team-members. This might include advertising for specific competence and having interviews with candidates.

The team should prepare and send information to all new members and make sure they get registered at all relevant digital platforms and make contact with their team.

The team should find and assign mentors to all members that are new to Nordic Paradise and inform both the new member and the mentor of the assignment.
